Nomadic

Originally built alongside the mighty RMS Titanic in Belfast in 1911, the SS Nomadic was just like the ss Titanic designed by Thomas Andrews and built using the same design and similar luxurious finishes as the Titanic . She is exactly one quarter of the size of Titanic, and served for many years as a tender in Cherbourg ferrying passengers to the great liners waiting off shore, among them the Titanic. She saw service in both world wars before being converted to a floating restaurant at the river Seine in Paris where she stayed for thirty years. She has been brought back to her berth place Belfast, Ireland and after being restored opened in 2016 as a museum in Belfast’s’Titanic Quarter
