The second part of the ship descriptions includes vessels
which entered service after 1975.I am fully aware of
the fact that 1975 is an arbitrary choice, as a ship like P&Oīs Pacific Sky,
which is the last cruise ship built with steam propulsion, can just as
easily be regarded as a classic vessel.......
In this section, the new breed of mega cruise ships,
starting with the converted Norway and the first large newbuilding Sovereign
of the Seas (Royal Caribbean Intl.) are
covered. However, other ships sailing for niche operators, like for example
the yacht - like Sun Bay are also included.
